How many sets, how much water, how many containers

Labour rates differ from country to country, so this tool does not assume ours — enter your own. Everything updates as you type.

Units per row = modules per row + 1

Basis of calculation. Unit count = modules + rows, because each row needs one extra unit at the end while adjacent modules share the tank at their seam. Module count = project size ÷ module power. Install duration uses 30 days per MW for drilled racking and 12 days per MW for the water ballast system, taken from field comparisons on customer projects; water ballast installation can be done by general labour, which is why the two day rates are entered separately. Excludes material cost, freight, duties, scaffolding, roof access and electrical work. This is an indicative estimate for budgeting — the binding figure comes from a layout drawing for your actual roof.

Container loading reference

Cargo is volumetric, so loading depends on nesting density rather than weight. 400 sets total about 2.5 tonnes.

A real layout beats an estimate.
