Third partyTianjin Bailun, CMA / CNASReport BL9B936C52, issued 2026-10-12. Conclusion PASS.

Ballast weight per unit depends on fill level and on the design wind pressure of the site. A ballast calculation is issued per project — a full cavity is not always required, and is not always sufficient.

Installation sequence

#StepDetail
1Position tanksLay out along the row at module pitch. Empty units are repositioned by hand.
2Place modulesPortrait, dropped onto the seams between adjacent tanks.
3ClampMiddle clamps at seams, end clamps at row edges, one bolt each.
4Fill with waterSite tap or bowser, to the fill level in the project ballast calculation.
5CommissionDC strings and inverter as normal. Roof membrane never penetrated.

Cargo is volumetric: 400 sets weigh about 2.5 tonnes. Freight should be calculated on CBM, not on weight.

Suitable / not suitable

SuitableFlat concrete and cast-in-place roofs; industrial and warehouse roofs with existing waterproofing; roofs where penetration is forbidden; level ground.
Review firstPitched or curved roofs; light metal roofs without ballast capacity; roofs below the calculated ballast load; sites above the tested wind pressure.
